Cook, Serve, Delicious (PC)

'Cook, Serve, Delicious' is more of a typing game then a restaurant simulator - it's a fairly good looking game and it's got a sense of humor.

Ah, if it was only that easy all the time...

There are some really nice details, like the daytime changes in the window and it's vibrant and colourful.

Thank goodness a simple customer without some frilly order - "S" "O" "Enter" ....

You're not just cooking though you have to take care of other chores as well otherwise the health inspectors are going to shut you down.

You purchase new recipes and manage your menu based on a few stats. You need to be careful not to put too many fatty foods on your menu, decide what recipes you can handle (some need constant attention, others are difficult to prepare, some can sit in an oven to give you time to pour those drinks) and watch out for 'menu rot' meaning that your customers are getting bored of your choices.

You can upgrade your recipes and your appliances and eventually get a better restaurant. I did thing that the game progressed a little slow for my liking and after quite a few hours I decided that I had had enough of the work simulator and maybe I should just learn to actually cook....
